You are needed at the Iowa Rally for Life

Iowa Rally for LifeHere’s the reality: Big Abortion wants to turn Iowa into New York. The Iowa Supreme Court has us well on the way by overturning key pro life legislation passed in the last two years. The pro life community is fighting back with the annual Iowa Rally for Life.

We really encourage you to attend next Thursday, February 21st from 9AM until 2PM at the Iowa State Capitol. If you can’t make the entire event, no problem, but try to be there at 11AM when Governor Reynolds is scheduled to speak.

Here’s why you are needed: pro lifers have made tremendous strides in the legislative arena in Iowa the last three sessions. The success has been fueled by prayer and unity, and nothing unites better than our sincere prayer to the Creator of all Life.

The Iowa Rally for Life unifies and energizes the pro life movement.

Here is the schedule of events:

9AM to 10:45AM—> LEARN HOW TO LOBBY [Room 116]

Did you know that every citizen has the right to lobby? Learn how! You will work with veteran lobbyists on how to effectively lobby at the State Capitol.

LOBBY YOUR LEGISLATORS

Work with your trainers to actively encourage legislators to support pro-life legislation!

10:45 to 12PM—> PRAYER RALLY [Rotunda]

Join local clergy in prayer, hear from Iowa’s pro-life leaders on the latest efforts to save babies’ lives, encourage legislators who are leading the pro-life charge, and honor Governor Kim Reynolds for taking a stand for life!

11AM—> GOVERNOR KIM REYNOLDS SPEAKS [Rotunda]

Governor Reynolds is scheduled to speak at 11AM. Remember, parking and security the Capitol takes a little time, so be sure arrive early!

12PM to 2PM—> CONTINUE TO LOBBY

Watch Iowa’s Legislature in action, and make sure to stop by the Iowa Coalition of Pro-Life Leaders’ tables to find out how you can join the efforts to save both babies and mothers in Iowa.

Believe us, the ‘culture of death’ prowls the halls of the state house. We need your presence and your prayers to succeed.

You must understand that the power of a single individual is profound, and YOU can stand in the gap for the most vulnerable in our society: the unborn. You CAN make a difference.

See you at the Capitol on February 21st.
